So, in 2023 Super Typhoon Mawar struck our island directly. I didn't really make much art. I spent about 3 months without power at home. I remember reading a LOT of the Night Vale books Post-Mawar.

Also, personally I think pink-haired girl with sci-fi weaponry/ is a mad scientist is a good character trope.

Valarie

A redraw of Valarie. Her current design is based off the attire you'd see on the beaches from where I'm from.

Roseanna

Roseanna is a newish OC but she's fun to draw! I wanted to make a bubbly character while keeping an earthly palette.

Ruth

I like playing around with art programs and seeing what processes I like. Initially I was going to work in grayscale, and then use color mapping filters, but I didn't really like how it turned out.

Ariol started out with black hair! I tend to draw #onetypeofguy so I've been trying to break out of the habit by developing more male OCs.

I used Clip Studio Paint's lasso fill tool. I really miss it now that I'm using Affinity but then again, I can just draw in vector now.

Anyway! Back in middle school/ high school Project Diva and Patapon 1 & 2 were my absolute favorite games on my PSP. (Aside from the Disgaea series that is.)

I get really nostalgic when I think back to that era of my life...

Deemo

Speaking of rhythm games, my sister got me into Deemo! I saw that the game was popular on mobile back in the day, but because of Deemo's appearance, I thought it was a cash-grab mascot horror game?

I'm so sorry Deemo. You didn't deserve that.
